You're right - corporations are not a person. They have one mission and that is to protect and enhance shareholder value. When I say that perhaps one day the will realize that they are not wanted, I mean that one day they will realize that the degree to which they are not wanted will continue to complicate and delay the project, thereby costing them time and money - and that their vast resources could create greater shareholder value if directed elsewhere.
